Khloe was rescued from the Brooklyn Animal Care & Control in New York by Furbridge, a local rescue group.  Khloe was abandoned at the shelter and was extremely malnourished, weighing only five pounds.  She also had kennel cough and a problem with her immune system.

Thanks to your help and Furbridge she is on the road to recovery.  She is doing nicely in her foster home and carefully recovering.  She is still underweight and having problems keeping food down, but she is slowly regaining her appetite.  A veterinarian has checked out her blood work and lungs and she is on antibiotics to help her improve.  Her foster parents have noticed great improvement with her lungs, and we hope that it is only a matter of time before she is all better!
