Meet Baily, a 2 year old spayed female Sheltie/Border Collie mix weighing in at 45 pounds. Baily was adopted from the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League as a semi-feral puppy. She was abandoned and scared but with a lot of TLC, patience and understanding she was adopted. Her adopters did an incredible job of raising her into a much braver dog. However, Baily is still timid when meeting new people, and unfortunately her adopters returned her to the shelter.
When Baily was returned to the shelter it took her a minute to recognize that the staff is there to love and help her. Now she will follow you to the end of the Earth, if only for a hug. She is loyal, well behaved, housebroken, crate trained and very affectionate. She loves, LOVES!!!!, to be brushed. Baily does have skin allergies which will require that she stays on preventive medicine for the rest of her life. She has a ridiculous amount of love to give...all you have to do is meet her and spend some time in her fluffy bubble.
Your support is helping pay for Baily's treatment, as well as for the food and care she needs until she is adopted. She thanks you!
